Art Museum of South Texas

Learn about the region’s art at the Art Museum of South Texas. It opened in 1972 and expanded in 2006 as an elegant building peaked with small pyramids by Mexican Modernist, Ricardo Legorreta. Visit the majestic buildings that feature floor-to-ceiling windows and many architectural touches that play off the South Texas sun and the Corpus Christi Bay.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History

Everyone can uncover local history at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History. Discover treasures from a 1554 Spanish shipwreck and the 1686 French shipwreck “La Belle.” The new H-E-B Science Center inspires all ages in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The center also has an outdoor playground and Music Garden featuring giant musical instruments.

At FUNTRACKERS, kids and parents can have equal fun. There are race cars for kids of all ages, as well as a Pro Track for the Adults. U.S.S. Lexington

The USS LEXINGTON, CV-16, is a World War II-vintage aircraft carrier. Commissioned in 1943, she served the United States longer and set more records than any other carrier in the history of naval aviation.
