Did you know that Blue Bell means more to the community than delicious ice cream? The Blue Bell Aquatic Center (BBAC), which opened in 2001 with its two indoor heated pools and outdoor family leisure pool, is still in full swing. They are meeting the needs of those who prefer water therapy, and it will open summer job opportunities for young people.
For splashtacular summer fun, The Blue Bell Aquatic Center announces its opening of the season on Saturday, May 27, 2017. The outdoor Leisure Pool, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, is filled with fun in the sun. Summer 2017 will be no exception. The special event staff has planned a full filled summer with all sorts of exciting things. In June, look for Back to Pools Day, Mom Day Mondays, Dad’s Double Dip Day, Aquatic Honor Roll Day, and Floats-n-Flicks. July is just a busy as they celebrate Independence Day with the July 4th JulyBash. They also celebrate National Aquatics Week with fun activities planned all week. They round out July with Duckie Day, National Parents Day, and National Hot Dog Day. August brings out Pirate Day as well as Floats-n-Flicks.
