Kids Learn About Aviation at the 1940's Air Terminal Museum!

Looking for an interesting museum right here in Houston? There are plenty unique ones located outside the museum district, including the 1940โ€™s Air Terminal Museum! Just down the road from the Hobby Airport is a building full of history, planes, and fun.

Your future aviator to be will love all the exhibits and history surrounding each piece of clothing, desk, model airplane, newspaper, clipping, and dining ware!

The parking is free, the content is interesting, the staff is friendly, what are you waiting for? Check it out on you next free day! The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is open

10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday

The Museum is closed on Mondays

Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. ย 


Also, try and check out one of their Wings & Wheels days! ย The 1940 Air Terminal Museum's monthly open house, features different displays of airplanes and automobiles, and is one way the museum fundraisers. ย It is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, rain or shine.
