Things to Do with Kids on a Rainy Day

1)      iFly Houston- Your kids don’t have to go outside to fly! Show them the time of their lives at iFly Houston for an indoor skydiving experience.

2)      Texas Rock Gym- Climb high as a family at Texas Rock Gym with their award-winning location north of I10 on Campbell Road. They have beginner to advanced levels with the best of instructors, and they even do birthdays!

3)      Wonderwild- This indoor play center is all about fun and exploring for kids with its 3-story playscape, a jumping pillow, a crocodile slide, and more!

4)      The Downtown Houston Aquarium- Just because it’s rainy doesn’t mean the kids can’t explore a world of water! Hit the aquarium to learn about sharks, pet manta rays, and see the white tigers.

5)      K1 Speed- Hit the race track at K1 Speed, with cars and races for all ages, and take your kids on the ride of a lifetime.

6)      Mad Potter- Get artsy at Mad Potter. Pick a ceramic object, and paint away to spark your child’s creative side and save a piece of their artistic talent forever.

7)      Escape the Room Texas- Work together as a family to “escape the room.” You pick a theme and put your teamwork skills to the test for an hour of fun and strategy.

8)      Battlefield Houston- This Laser tag experience will get your kids to forget all about the rain, and they’ll be begging you to let them stay inside so they can play another round of laser tag!

9)      Memorial City Mall Ice Skating Rink- Take the rainy season and turn it into an opportunity to hit the ice instead—grab your skates and have some fun!

10)   If nothing else seems to work, grab your rain coats and some bright yellow boots, and embrace the rain. Dance in the puddles and make a splash! Just make sure not to spend too long out there, and finish the day with a nice hot bath and some hot coco!
