Here are just a few of the exhibits at The Health Museum:

Debakey Cell Lab

Designed to inspire interest and educate the public in biology and medicine as well as inspire future scientists and leaders in the medical field, this exhibit allows you to get up close and personal with cellular biology.

You: The Exhibit

This unique gallery immerses visitors of all ages in The World of Tomorrow – reminiscent of the 1939 World’s Fair.  The exhibit uses multi-media and special effects technology to create an experience that takes museum visitors on a journey to explore their physical selves, mental selves and the future selves.

Amazing Body Gallery

This larger-than-life attraction allows visitors to have hands on experiences with a walking tour through the human body.  The hands on experience includes:

  • Texas-sized, 10-foot-tall walk-through brain with memory games
  • Skeleton riding a bicycle
  • Look down the throat at vocal chords in action
  • Colossal walk-in eyeball that demonstrates how your eye receives and perceives images
  • Journey through the heart in a new way with the heart wall
  • Scream booth

Planet You

Imagine exploring an alien world where odd creatures roam bizarre terrain in search of food. Then witness the attack and counterattack of viral bacteria at a cellular level. Now imagine it all in 3D! Planet You 3D is an experience that will take you to a world you never knew existed before – a world that is so much closer than you think. It is a microscopic journey into the foreign landscape that is your own…SKIN!

These exhibits are just a sampling of all of the fun and interactive things to do at The Health Museum!
