FREE Things To Do In Houston This Weekend October 1, 2 with kids.

Here are my weekend picks for FREE Family Fun.

Saturday:

Kick off the month of October by visiting a Free pumpkin patch at Warren's Southern Gardens Annual Pumpkin Patch.  Kids will love the face painting, crafts, snacks, pumpkins and more.

Take the older kids (8+) over to Barnes and Noble for the Lego Star Wars Rogue One Build Event.  Younger children will enjoy the Highlights Magazine Story Time.

Your little Bob the Builder will love the Home Depot Kid's Workshop.

Explore animal skins and skulls @ Jesse Jones Park in Humble. And speaking of Animals, a visit to the Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary won't soon be forgotten.

Little Artists will love going to the free Kid's Craft Day @ the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and also the Lakeshore Learning Free Craft.

Listen to the Rice African Music Ensemble's Free Concert at Cypresscreek F.A.C.E.

The Tiny House Tour is back @ Lake Conroe.  Have an opportunity to walk inside two Tiny Houses from the hit show.

Jump on over to the Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market and sample the foods, cheeses and veggies from local vendors.  After head over to Rob Fleming Aquatic Center for the Community Safety Expo and end your day listening to some live music in The Woodlands at Waterway Square.

Take a drive up north and catch The Texas Sawmill Festival in New Caney.

If you're looking for some fun downtown, then check out Dance from Israel at Miller Outdoor Theater.

Sunday Funday:

Throw some ribs on the grill and kick back and relax as you watch the Houston Texans take on the Tennessee Titans OR visit North Shore Park in The Woodlands for a live concert.

Have a great weekend!
